In this episode, Gail, Catherine, and Recille explore the various hues and benefits of story-sharing. With candor, humor, and revelation, Recille recounts her journey from speech pathologist for students of all ages with all kinds of handicaps to creating a culture of storytelling in her area of South Burlington, Vermont. The experience of a profound personal trauma moved Recille into the emotional dimension of storytelling. Several decades later, she teaches storytelling classes, and hosts Open Mikes as well as Annual Nights out for experienced story-tellers.
“Stories are like a gift of love to oneself and others.” – Recille Hamrell
